Bridge Pointe is a community of 201 homes and great neighbors! It is a neighborhood that can frequently be found participating in activities that build friendships. Bridge Pointe began in 1986 and has evolved into a development of ranch homes, raised ranches, split-levels, two-story homes and one and one-half story homes. Along the way, trees were planted along the roads and around cul-de-sacs in 1997 and this has added significantly to the community.
The streetlight system was upgraded in August of 1999 and the result has been dramatically improved the lighting of the sidewalks and streets. The neighborhood has a pool at its main entrance and an active Homes Association that ensures the community assets of a pool, pool property, landscaping, and shared property are managed with the future in mind. The Bridge Pointe Homes Association has a 5-Year Plan for the purpose of protecting and preserving its assets well into the future. Part of this effort included a proposal for reserving funds to pay for the plan from the dues revenue that supports the neighborhood.
Residents of the Bridge Pointe subdivision all are members of the homes association. It was created by Declarations which were recorded by the Clay County Recorder of Deeds. By-Laws govern the association, which includes 201 homes as mentioned earlier. Upon buying a home in Bridge Pointe, property owners agree to be bound by – and to benefit from – certain Covenants and Restrictions as amended. The Declarations, original By-Laws, and Covenants and Restrictions were all adopted and recorded in 1986. Complete copies of all documents mentioned here (and others – including board and annual meeting minutes) are available on this website on the Reference pages.
